Granite Mining

Photographed on Skriverøya near Halden, Norway, in 2022, this series documents a landscape shaped by extraction and labor. The granite cuts reveal both precision and violence — sharp lines carved into ancient stone. What remains is a quiet tension between human intervention and geological time, where industry leaves its temporary mark on something vastly older.
